01/08/08 B- MASTERS OF REALITY To Enter Studio In February

Brownhouse is proud to present the signing of Masters of Reality!

The band of founding father Chris Goss will be in the studio early February to record the follow up to "Deep In The Hole", Masters Of Reality's last release from 2001.

Expect the trademark bluesy stoner rock groove the Masters are famous for.

I'm very excited about this one since it's been so long since the last new material.
What will the recording line-up be?
Any ideas?

Best news in years!

No idea about the lineup, though... is John Leamy still around with them? Who did drum for Goon Moon live?

Literally can't wait for this. Partly for new material, partly for assumed live performances.

Me neither.
I wonder how this will sound. It's been so long since Deep in the Hole.

I really hope they go on a good sized tour, that isn't just Europe. I want a show in Norfolk, VA at the Norva. QotSA played there, and if it's good enough for the Queens, it should be good enough for the Goss.

When was the last time they played in the US?  Is there a reason they've toured Europe more than here?

Yes I think this too!
...AND the recordlabel is in the netherlands/europe too.

The most Gigs were in Europe than arround LA... (and in the beginning a lot in Syracuse, NY)

most bands tend to break earlier over here.

I can't wait for new material.  Really excited to hear what Goss is going to do.  I was lucky enough to actually see MOR live, when they played a Halloween show with QOTSA, Tomahawk, and The Cramps a couple of years ago.  They were just awesome.  If i remember correctly, Dave Catching, and Jerodie played with MOR that night.  Hopefully I'll be able to see them again if and when they tour for this new album.
