This reminds me of the horrendous idea that josh had around the time of era vulgaris.
To subscribe to a band and pay yearly membership fees.
Then Aaron North did that Jubilee band and used the idea.
And where are they now? Face down in an LA gutter, high on meth, and still owing the people who subscribed to him a full length record that will never come out.

I don't think there is an album coming soon, maybe towards the end of the year maybe not. There is no benefit to keeping it secret. Even if there was some sick twisted plot to keep it secret someone somewhere would let the secret out.
That being said they were playing shows as recently as 8 months ago so it's not like it's been forever since they've been on the road.

I thought I'd read it here somewhere but obviously not but I read somewhere that Josh can't release the new album until 2013 (at the earliest) due to the agreement made with interscope that got them out of their contract. I might be wrong and seeing as I can't name the source I can't say how trustworthy the information is.
