i was listening to the jam earlier, i'm going to go see The Rifles in a couple of weeks so thought i'd better brush up on them and they just made me want to listen to The Jam.

Noel was on the Chris moyles show a few weeks back completely twatted from the night before and it was the funniest thing ive heard in a long time. musically I can take or leave oasis but what I really like about them is there's no illusions with em . what you see is what you get and I respect them a lot for that.

Mods were in the sixties mate, they listened to soul records and bands like the Kinks & The Who.

A mod revival sort of happened in the late seventies, with the Jam using the mod logo and Quadrephenia coming out but my Dad - who was a mod - and people of his generation (who were mods) generally cant stand Weller. I think you would have been a punk if you were around in the late seventies Sala

I love The jam and a few of Weller's solo albums like Stanley Road & Wild Wood

Havent heard the new Oasis yet but the first two albums are classics in my eyes. Great memories of both of those albums and the times spent having those albums as soundtracks

i have no idea i'd never even listened to them until yesterday, i think i saw them live at V this year but there was lots of rum involved and i can't be certain i saw them or anyone else for that matter during that period of the afternoon.
