I'm trying to go there and stuff, but I need a job there, coz I have no money. Danish boardies, do you know, except from the festival's website, where can I get a job? I heard there are some companys getting the volunteers and stuff...

My friends from school (yeah, I go to gymnasium) say Roskilde is like something you HAVE TO experience. All the booze and the music, and the grass, and people all around and everything else.

It's like a big "dream team" of famous brazilian musicians and producers playing this new, modern samba. It rocks.
And I can't wait to see Gnarls Barkley live. And Radiohead. And Kings of Leon.
And all the ca. 15 acts I wanna see. (the rest of the time I'll work or drink/smoke)

I'm thinking of going to see Veto next friday here in odense. Then I wouldn't "have to" see them in Roskilde.
But all my friends around here say that it is so hard to see all the acts you wanna see, because you're so stoned and wasted all the time. Is it like that for you too?
And besides, I heard they'll still put some names on the poster, so I still have some hopes of Kashmir, Interpol and either one of the Lanegan possibilities, with Isobel or Greg.

Last year Soulsavers was suddenly added to the list so it's still hope

I went to see kashmir last year, and I'm gonna miss their summer concerts in denmark for pure schedule conflicts. So, I really really hope they show up in Roskilde.
And about last year, did you get wasted all the time, or you were there just to see the bands and stuff? Because in Denmark there's a lot of people that go to Roskilde seeing it more like a party, like a celebration (somehow like the Carnival in Brazil, I'd say) and so they see only the bands they mostly wanna see and get drunk the rest of the time. I'd like to do both, I mean, see a lot of acts and get drunk and stoned, if possible.

Roskilde var et antiklimax for mig sidste år. Jeg er nok en smule for gammel til det fis. Hørte meget musik, drak mig meget lidt fuld. Uheldigvis var det ikke regnen, men folk omkring mig, der ødelagde oplevelsen.
