Good band obviously.

There's only one song of theirs that I can listen to and think it's great though.

I Want You (She's So Heavy) ftw.

Seargent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
A Day In The Life
Come Together
All You Need Is Love
etc etc
The Classis Beatles album apart from Rubber Soul  Revolver and The White Album
Within You  Without You is another favorite
I used to listen to the Yellow Submarine all the time when I was a kid
Nearly every band will hae a Beatles influenced moment somewhere along the way

and Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

and Rubber Soul

and Let It Be (also check out Let It Be... Naked - Paul remixed the album sans Phil Spector's wall of sound production, using some alternate takes, some of the tracks are way better)

and Magical Mystery Tour

thanks, i didn't leave it out on purpose. it's just that to list every album is superfluous, since any of one of their LPs is enough to see their genius.

any chemical bros fans should make sure they listen to "tomorrow never knows" to see where that "unique" beat came from.

The old Chemical Bros website used to have a whole section of the songs the sampled on it, it was a pretty diverse group of stuff. Don't know if it's still there, haven't looked in years.

they were good, but they are so overrated, prob the 2nd most overrated band ever, but a far distant 2nd to the stones....it's pop music, granted, prob the 1st of it's time, but the beatles were in the right place at the right time....it's just like saying the painter andy warhol is one of the best painters ever...he was the first to do what he did, but it's just random shit he did on lsd...
