If Deathproof is meant to hark back to a "golden" era of film than all I can say is thank fuck that it's over.

Planet Terror was better. Such a badass flick.
Deathproof was good, but not as tight as PT.

deathproof. i too was checking my watch through the first half but the car chase scenes really do save this movie. i watch em over and over. they remind me of the first mad max movie. i can't believe i'm willing to dismiss the first half and give a good review base on some car chases, but i am.

Deathproof gets my vote, Planet Terror is just a b-movie sci-fi gross out.
Deathproof has a cool vibe to it and the car chase is fun. Plus that part where Kurt gets shot and yells like a bitch is funny.
