"That which is rewarded will be repeated."
The reward being a famous death and 15 minutes of posthumous 'glory'.
yep. there you have it.
i really wish they wouldn't have released the name of the killer. he's a coward who doesn't deserve the attention he'll be getting now.

No will to figure out a way to make these things not as common?
As an outsider it looks as if people are saying 'shit happens'.

And for Christ's sake, if one of these guys shows up, fight back! You're telling me an entire student body can't take down one guy?
Sorry, I'm not in a good mood.
It's not that easy man. The kid fucking walked in an auditorium and started shooting at people from the stage.
There is so much darkness in the world it makes me fucking depressed.
I was out of line and I apologize. I hope your friends are ok.
There are some fucked up people out there.

"Shit happens" seems to be our generation's motto. My best friend called his friend at NIU to make sure he was ok, and he replied: "yeah. I'm really happy because now classes are cancelled."
Nothing shocks us anymore and that's sad and sick.

And some people are so numb that they have to kill alot of people to feel at all.

Does this kind of shit happen in Sweden? Just curious.

The Westboro Baptist Church (click) plans on protesting at the victims' funerals.
They've released statements saying, "Thank God for the 5 Dead at NIU" and "God Sent the Killer to NIU"
It's sick man.

Why can't school shooters do their deeds at the WBC instead?

Because then things would make sense. What makes the US different than Sweden and all the other countries that don't have their youth shooting up schools?

Yeah man I agree. "But our country was founded on this belief. Therefore let's be fucking stupid and allow kids to shoot each other."
The US embarrasses me sometimes ughh

USA has a violent history and I guess society is harder for some people there.
It's harder for crazed killers to get their hands on guns in Sweden. Organized crime gangs have guns but they only shoot each other.

Oh yeah, THOSE people.
Also, it seems that some people can't even feel remorse, as in certain serial killer cases... It's a scary thing that people chose these ways to deal with their emotions.

The people writing the constitution didn't expect this kind of society perhaps.

Yeah, and it was more about miliias and all that jazz...but, if we changed things in our consitution because it wasn't relevant today, then we'd have to change a lot of other things too, which would be very complicated. It's true when someone says guns don't kill people...
