I'll back you up. He speaks the truth. $1,000 to $1,500 is a small amount to pay for a guitar that will last a lifetime.
I'm interested to see all of your gear, Mr. Bigsby.
hey billy, long time no see.....
i had pics of all the gear i had and still mostly have for sale on the old thread about 6-10 pages back from the end i think page 51-57 somewhere maybe? other than that i have now threee australian made boutique amps (1972 rex bassking, 60's moody, and possibly more moody), a guyatone 20 watt with trem and reverb in orange tolex (60s), a brand spanking new custom maton 503 in translucent blue with a white plate n black trimings (all tagged up with factory warrentee case and booklets- this ones never been out of the custom shop!), theres the see-through dan armstrong original with two interchangable pickups (country rock and rock bass), then the older stuff: (pictureed in the old thread) teisco 1969 3 pickup oddball (the design is a 2 pickup, but a few were made with three and a bigsby styled trem arm), a 'richards' 335/country gentleman custom hybrid made by victorias own famous luthier sandy richards some time ago- given to a friend and ended up with me- it has two tv jones style pickups which sound MUCH meatier and midboosted, an original bigsby trem, custom black pearl knobs and black and creme flower design carved tusk tuning heads (see pictures in old board), i also have a discontinued ibanez axs32 in black/brown (or TKF color), and a vox valvetronix head and cab there somewhere too (60watt valves in both preamp and output).
.....so there you go my man, if you need just about anything else i have not got now in my possesion, i can still get it!
