I always have that to cut or not to cut it all off debate! I'm back in the middle of it again at the moment!
Trying so so hard to be patient and not chop it off!!!!

Thankyouuu <3 I am growing out my fringe though.  With summer coming up, fringe and humidity and gross Brisbane summer is never good! And then travelling and not having my blow drier/straightener and fringe would NOT be good!!!

Oh believe me, I feel ya. We pretty much have similiar hair. my bangs would never stay the way I wanted them too, that's why I'm going without them currently. You look great with shorter hair, too, anyway.

I love long hair but im super impatient.  Also i get bored with my hair pretty quickly.  Trying to be good this time!  I figure i'll grow my fringe out over summer and probably cut them again once summer is over.  I love a fringe, but summer and fringe and also OS travelling next year = never easy!!!

Never know until you try!  They can always be pinned back, etc. The bad thing about a fringe is trying to grow it out.  I'm growing mine out at the moment and it seems to be going at a snails pace, but when i wanted to keep it short, it would seem to grow so quickly!  dry.gif

reviving the hair thread b/c i am full of indecision. how light can i go without looking weird? i am thinking about just doing a brown with highlights and burgundy/purplish (maybe?) lowlights. but then its such a bitch to maintain and i am lazy in the 'getting ready' department. i need tips on haircuts and color for summer that's easy to take care of since i am lazy.

this is the current do which is not really a do. my current color is 'natural black,' not the blackest of the black; but still really dark esp for summer. i scrunch, do a bit of Bumble and Bumble surf spray (thank you Sepohra!) and then drive to work with my windows down and i won't do bangs/fringe in the summer.

YAY!  Love this thread!

Im super lazy too, Xina, and want to do something different colour wise to my hair, so I'm getting balayage done, and some more natural highlights that won't give me the obvious regrowth.  A bit trend-based, but I'm so in love with it!  And the hot girl in the pic.  I dont think my hair will go that light the first time though, low maintenance too, which is good! Just have to keep the ends nourished.

i loved your suggestion maddy and i am so out of it with what is in style, so this was really helpful. i spent 4 hours and a shit ton of money trying to get this done and ended up with lots of orangey/brassy color; but a great cut that i like with some long fringe in front and long layers all over. going back tonight to someone else who is supposed to know what they are doing (esp since my hair is black), hopefully i will end up with brown/dark blonde at ends and not more orange. i am going to soothe myself by first going to sephora and then the salon.

i'm such a sucker for nice smelling hair products. biggrin.gif found some shiseido conditioner for $9 at the Japanese dollar store in town, whooo hooo!

so did you color yours? do you like it?

My hair is still pretty short right now from cutting it over the summer.

Sometimes I just want to dye it ultra blonde and basically have Liela Moss's hair.
