i'm not much of an oasis fan, but he makes some good points there. rock stars are no more well-informed than other people, and their opinions are no more valid than anyone else's. people ask him questions, and he's simply giving them an answer. agree or disagree with what he says, but he just gives his opinion. his opinion just gets heard a lot more because people give him a platform to voice it.

this tour sold out quicker than many other acts tours in recent years and tickets are changing hands at up to 4 times face value!

if you went to one of their gig's you would love it even if you hate their music they put on a real good show and the atmoshpere is always really good, it's just one huge singalong.

Noel Opinion Update:

Oasis' Noel Gallagher has slammed reality TV show 'The X Factor' – but has defended the contestants who take part in the show.

The guitarist singled out TV judge Dannii Minogue for criticism, suggesting she was unqualified to identify talent among contestants.

He told the Radio Times that 'The X Factor' had "absolutely nothing to do with music and everything to do with television".

He added that he didn't blame contestants for wanting their shot at fame.

"If somebody is dangling this carrot of 'fame and fortune' in front of a checkout girl who can sing like Britney Spears then they're going to go for it, right?" he said.

He added: "You're going in at the top, with a Number One that sells 750,000 or whatever and you've got someone like Dannii Minogue telling you you're really talented – and if there's one person in the room who wouldn't know talent if it kicked them in the arse it's Dannii Minogue."
