It's not about any problems with posting bootlegs. It's about polluting the idea of that someone dedicated to live stuff do their efforts of bring YOU the best possible thing and then discover that it means nothing to too many. Often this is shitty work in fact, smuggeling gear into venues almost stripsearch you, and then try to make a decent recording when you really wanna rock and scream and behave like a fan. Ever wondered why you rarely see a banner among the crowd at a indoor arena? Do yourself(everybody, this is not a personal attack

) a effort to dive in the LOSSLESS world! HD space is NOT an issue today. What did you pay for your Ipod, mp3 player, cell phone and so on...? Anybody here who would pay the same amount for the lossy version of 'OVER THE YEARS AND THROUGH THE WOODS' DVD and play it on your high expensive DVD player, surround system or whatever? If that's the case the music industry would clap their hands and laugh all the way to the bank(this time too)...And those studio sessions and demos...Understand it was a loss for most of you that Blank is gone, but I couldnt care less about it since mp3 was all you got. The inside info I would love to know though.

Thanks a lot for this man!!! The 2001 RaR performance - aka the worst Qotsa Gig ever! I've heard a lot about this but have never watched the whole show! Really great.

So you can see that also pro Musicians can have a bad day - but some songs are still good - I love the better l. w. chemistry and the feelgood hit here!

i have to agree with shinkibo to some extent. as in, i don't think the site is completely horrible, but not even crediting the people who taped the shows is pretty damn low. i think it's fine that they're converted to lossy format since most people don't have the space for a 100 shows in flac format, but since most of these shows already exist somewhere else in lossless format, why not at least link back to where they can be found in their original form?

Thanks a lot for this man!!! The 2001 RaR performance - aka the worst Qotsa Gig ever! I've heard a lot about this but have never watched the whole show! Really great.

So you can see that also pro Musicians can have a bad day - but some songs are still good - I love the better l. w. chemistry and the feelgood hit here!

But it wasnt a bad gig at all in terms of how they played the songs, its just everything went wrong regarding the sound techs and the guitars not being tuned ..then smoke started pouring out of the side of the stage, scaring the crap out of the band ..Lanegans microphone was switched off for most of precious and grace, it was an embarrassment for the sound crew ....even the slide guitar was out of tune ....

It's not about any problems with posting bootlegs. It's about polluting the idea of that someone dedicated to live stuff do their efforts of bring YOU the best possible thing and then discover that it means nothing to too many.
